Terms of service
LEARN TO LIVE (LTL) — TERMS & CONDITIONS
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the LEARN TO LIVE (“LTL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) website, online store, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing the Services, placing an order, or purchasing from LTL, you agree to these Terms and to any policies referenced in them, including our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Services or place an order.
1. ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION
You may use the Services only if you are legally permitted to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. If you are under the age of majority, you may use the Services only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when placing an order or creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for activity that occurs through your account.
2. PRODUCTS, AVAILABILITY, AND LIMITED RELEASES
LTL may release products in limited quantities, limited drops, seasonal collections, pre-orders, or other restricted releases.
Products may sell out at any time. Adding an item to your cart does not reserve that item. An order is not guaranteed until payment has been successfully processed and the order has been accepted by LTL.
We reserve the right to limit quantities, refuse or cancel orders, discontinue products, or restrict sales to any person, household, geographic area, or jurisdiction when reasonably necessary.
3. PRODUCT IMAGES, COLORS, MATERIALS, AND SIZING
We make reasonable efforts to display our products as accurately as possible. However, colors, textures, washes, distressing, stitching, placement, hardware, and other visual details may appear differently depending on lighting, photography, screen settings, production methods, and natural material variation.
For garments with vintage washes, distressing, embroidery, specialty finishes, or handmade details, minor differences between individual pieces may occur and are not necessarily defects.
Customers are responsible for reviewing the size chart and product measurements provided before purchasing. Fit may vary between styles, fabrics, and garment constructions.
4. PRICES, TAXES, AND PAYMENT
All prices are shown in the currency displayed on the website unless otherwise stated. Prices may change at any time without notice.
Applicable taxes, shipping charges, duties, customs fees, and other charges may be added at checkout where required.
You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method submitted with your order and that all billing information you provide is accurate.
We may use third-party payment processors, including payment services made available through Shopify or other providers. Your payment may also be subject to the processor’s own terms and policies.
5. ORDER ACCEPTANCE, CHANGES, AND CANCELLATIONS
After you place an order, you may receive an order confirmation. An order confirmation does not necessarily mean that the order has been finally accepted or shipped.
LTL reserves the right to reject, limit, or cancel an order for reasons including suspected fraud, payment issues, inventory errors, pricing errors, duplicate orders, resale activity, or other circumstances that reasonably require cancellation.
Once an order enters processing, production, fulfillment, or shipment, we may be unable to change or cancel it.
Cancellation eligibility, if any, is subject to our Refund Policy and any special terms disclosed on the applicable product page.
6. PRE-ORDERS
Certain LTL products may be sold on a pre-order basis.
When a product is identified as a pre-order, the product is not ready for immediate shipment. The applicable product page will state an estimated production, fulfillment, and/or shipping timeframe.
By purchasing a pre-order item, you acknowledge and agree that:
-
you are purchasing an item that will ship at a later date;
-
you have reviewed the estimated pre-order wait time before completing your purchase;
-
you are expected to respect and accept the listed pre-order wait time;
-
the order will not be considered late solely because it has not shipped before the stated pre-order timeframe has passed; and
-
estimated production or shipping dates are not guaranteed delivery dates.
Pre-order timelines are estimates provided in good faith. Manufacturing, quality-control, material, customs, carrier, supply-chain, weather, or other delays may cause the estimated timeline to change.
If there is a material change to the expected pre-order timeframe, LTL will make reasonable efforts to communicate the updated estimate using the contact information provided with the order.
Unless otherwise stated on the product page or required by applicable law, pre-order cancellation and refund requests are governed by our Refund Policy.
7. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Shipping and delivery estimates are provided for convenience and are not guaranteed.
LTL is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, weather, incorrect or incomplete shipping information supplied by the customer, high-volume periods, or events outside our reasonable control.
Customers are responsible for entering a complete and accurate shipping address. If an order is returned because of an incorrect address, failed delivery, refusal, or other customer-related delivery issue, additional shipping charges may apply before the order is resent.
Once an order has shipped, tracking information may be provided when available. Tracking updates are controlled by the carrier and may not update immediately.
Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.
8. LOST, STOLEN, OR DAMAGED PACKAGES
If your package appears lost, damaged, or incorrectly delivered, contact us as soon as reasonably possible with your order information.
We may require photographs, packaging images, tracking information, or other documentation to help review the issue or submit a carrier claim.
Resolution of shipping claims may depend on the facts of the order, carrier investigation, and applicable law.
9. RETURNS, EXCHANGES, AND REFUNDS
Returns, exchanges, store credit, and refunds are governed by our separate Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Customers should review the Refund Policy before placing an order, especially for limited releases, pre-orders, sale items, or other products that may have special return conditions.
Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable rights provided by applicable law.
10. PROMOTIONS, DISCOUNT CODES, AND STORE CREDIT
Promotions, discount codes, giveaways, store credits, and special offers may be subject to additional terms.
Unless otherwise stated:
-
promotions cannot be combined;
-
discount codes have no cash value;
-
discounts cannot be applied retroactively to completed orders; and
-
LTL may modify or end a promotion at any time before an order is placed.
If specific promotional terms conflict with these Terms, the specific promotional terms will control for that promotion.
11. PAYMENT DISPUTES AND CHARGEBACKS
If you believe there is a problem with an order, we encourage you to contact LTL first so we have an opportunity to review and resolve the issue.
You agree not to knowingly submit false, misleading, or fraudulent payment disputes or chargeback claims.
LTL may provide order confirmations, product-page disclosures, pre-order notices, tracking records, delivery records, communications, and other relevant transaction information to payment processors, banks, or card networks when responding to a payment dispute.
Nothing in this section restricts any lawful right you may have to dispute a charge with your payment provider.
12. RESALE AND COMMERCIAL PURCHASES
Unless expressly authorized by LTL, products are sold for personal use and not for unauthorized commercial resale.
We may limit or cancel orders that we reasonably believe are being placed by resellers, distributors, automated purchasing systems, or other unauthorized commercial buyers.
13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The LTL name, LEARN TO LIVE name, logos, artwork, graphics, product designs, photographs, videos, website design, text, branding, slogans, and other original content are owned by or licensed to LTL and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, publish, create derivative works from, or commercially use LTL intellectual property without prior written permission.
Purchasing an LTL product does not transfer ownership of any LTL trademark, copyright, design right, artwork, or other intellectual property.
14. USER CONTENT AND FEEDBACK
If you voluntarily submit reviews, photographs, comments, suggestions, feedback, or other content to LTL, you represent that you have the right to submit that content.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, you grant LTL a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, repost, display, adapt, and share that content in connection with operating and promoting the brand, subject to applicable law.
You may not submit content that infringes another person’s rights, is unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or contains malicious code.
15. ACCEPTABLE USE
You may not use the Services to:
-
violate any applicable law;
-
infringe LTL’s or another person’s intellectual property rights;
-
interfere with the operation or security of the website;
-
introduce malware or harmful code;
-
scrape, copy, or extract website content for unauthorized commercial use;
-
impersonate another person;
-
submit fraudulent orders, payment information, disputes, or claims; or
-
use automated purchasing tools in a way that interferes with fair access to limited releases.
We may restrict or terminate access to the Services if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.
16. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS
The Services may rely on or link to third-party services, including Shopify, payment processors, shipping carriers, social-media platforms, analytics providers, and other service providers.
LTL is not responsible for the independent content, security, availability, or practices of third-party websites or services. Your use of those services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies.
17. PRIVACY
Your use of the Services is also subject to our Privacy Policy.
Because our store may be hosted or supported by Shopify and other service providers, certain personal information may be processed by those providers in order to operate the website, process payments, prevent fraud, fulfill orders, provide customer support, and perform related services.
18. ERRORS AND INACCURACIES
Occasionally, the website may contain typographical errors, inaccurate product information, incorrect pricing, incorrect availability, shipping information, or other mistakes.
We reserve the right to correct errors, update information, or cancel affected orders when reasonably necessary. If an order is canceled after payment has been collected, the applicable amount will be refunded in accordance with the payment method and applicable law.
19. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available, or that every product will meet every customer’s subjective expectations.
Any warranties that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
20. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LTL and its owners, employees, affiliates, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services or purchase of products.
Where liability cannot legally be excluded, it will be limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
21. INDEMNIFICATION
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless LTL and its affiliates, owners, employees, contractors, and service providers from third-party claims, losses, or expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights.
22. TERMINATION
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if you violate these Terms, misuse the website, engage in fraud, or otherwise create a risk to LTL, our customers, or our service providers.
Terms that by their nature should continue after termination—including intellectual property, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute-related provisions—will survive.
23. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where LEARN TO LIVE is headquartered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
Any dispute will be handled in a court or forum with lawful jurisdiction over the matter.
24. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by law or severed if necessary. The remaining provisions will remain in effect.
25. NO WAIVER
If LTL does not enforce a provision of these Terms in a particular situation, that does not waive our right to enforce it later.
26. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The current version will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Changes will apply prospectively from the effective date unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Your continued use of the Services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
